The MAX 8 Com/Data Surge Protector represents yet another exclusive breakthrough by Panamax in the form of SurgeGate Circuitry - a "power monitoring" system otherwise known as Protect-Disconnect-Reconnect technology. SurgeGate Circuitry protects equipment against prolonged over-voltages by disconnecting the power to equipment, then automatically reconnecting it when the power has returned to a safe level. This Protect-Disconnect-Reconnect feature acts as a gate to prevent unsafe voltages from damaging electronic equipment.
